Winter is a good time to handle all those mods you have been wanting to do to your boat. It is also a good time to take an inventory of those things already on board. I had been pushing this "Boat in a Bag" around all summer but had not had a chance to pull it out and inflate it.
It turns out that we acquired a Sevylor T250 inflatable tender complete with foot pump and oars along with our sailboat! The T250 is a 5 chamber boat with a solid floor insert (not shown) capable of carrying up to a 2 HP gas motor or trolling motor. It also has a protective nylon cover. While it is now discontinued, the boat gets warm reviews online from its owners and appears to have sold for $290-$360 when new. SCORE!!
Our T250 can be towed behind the boat or stored in the bag shown above. I'm guessing the tow harness was a sewn-on modification made by the previous owner since the stitch pattern doesn't match the rest of the cover. Now I just have to get it back in the bag before the wife gets home and finds a boat in the dining room!
